Nagarhole – Kabini Tour from Mysore
Nagarhole National Park also known as ‘Rajiv Gandhi National Park,’ is located 94 km from Mysore. It is spread between Kodagu and Mysore districts. Located to the northwest of Bandipur National Park, Kabini reservoir that separates the two. These were exclusive hunting reserves of the former rulers of Mysore. This park is one of the last remaining and best protected habitats for endangered species like the Elephant and the Tiger.
Itinerary:-
Day 1: Bangalore - Mysore
Pick up from Bangalore (Morning around 07.00 AM suggested from city railway station or airport) and drive to Mysore. On arrival check into the hotel and proceed for buffet lunch. Coffee or Tea will be served in the evening. Post lunch drive to for exploring Mysore the ancient capital city of the Wodeyars. Presently, Mysore is a vibrant city teeming with tourists and visitors. It is known by the entire world for its exotic sandalwood and rich silks. Its giants and imposing palaces, majestic temples and gardens are worth viewing and tell the story of long-gone era. Also you can see Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo, and the Art Gallery etc.
Return to your hotel in the evening and Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 2: Mysore to Nagarahole National Park – Kabini
After taking morning coffee or tea proceed for wildlife safari or for coracle ride (local boat ride). After completing the safari return to resort. Have your breakfast. Post lunch you go for the second evening safari in the Kabini. In the evening come back to resort and overnight stay in the pre-booked resort.
Day 3: Transfer to Bangalore
After taking breakfast, depart for Bangalore. Complete the checkout formalities at the resort. Later on transfer to Bangalore for onward destination.
