Fauna in Nagarahole National Park
Nagarahole forest is hosting varied kinds of animals. The entertaining appearance of fauna justifies the jungle. Project Tiger in Nagarahole Tiger Reserve
As an extension of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Nagarahole National Park was designated as a tiger reserve in 2003 under 'Project Tiger'. After Nagarahole was announced as an independent Tiger Reserve in 2007, it was proclaimed a Core or Critical Tiger Habitat of 643.392 square kilometers.
