Updated [03/May/23] Nagarahole National Park is situated in the Mysore district of Karnataka state. It was announced as a national park in the year 1988. This national Park was announced as the 37th Project Tiger Reserve of India in the year 1999 known as Nagarahole Tiger Reserve. The area covered by this national park is 640 square km.
Home to some of the rare, unique, and endangered species such as tigers, leopards, wild dogs, sloth bears, hyenas, deer, sambar deer, four-horned antelope, etc. And to add to the family members of this jungle family, this national park is also home to over 250 species of birds.

This airport is located at a distance of 268 kilometers from the national park. The reason why people often choose the train over the air is that they are less expensive and are another quicker medium to travel. The nearest railway station to Nagarhole National Park is Mysore Junction. This railway station is situated at a distance of 96 kilometers from the Nagarahole National Park. You can reach your destination from the railway station with the help of a bus or taxi.
By Road: people who choose journey over destination are the people who often choose this medium to travel. This medium of transport can be a little expensive and can turn out to be a little time-consuming but the experience you are going to receive is so wonderful.
